We are currently looking for a full-time Engineer to work in our Frankfort office location. The engineer will assist in engineering project design and management for a variety of municipal projects, in a timely and cost effective manner which meets client, contractual and company requirements.

We are currently looking for a full-time Engineer to work in our Frankfort office location. The engineer will assist in engineering project design and management for a variety of municipal projects, in a timely and cost effective manner which meets client, contractual and company requirements.
The essential duties of the position:
- Provide services for civil engineering projects including, but not limited to, reviews of site development and subdivision plans
- Prepare engineering plans, specification, estimates, schedules and change orders for public improvements
- Work with Resident Engineers on construction projects as needed
- Conduct quality checks of all documents and reports, verifying accuracy of data and/or information
- Assist in client development with existing clients and support marketing efforts in new client development
- Maintain knowledge of latest trends, standards, and other innovations in the field of civil/municipal engineering through attendance at conferences, participation in professional societies, and/or reviewing trade publications
- Other duties as may be assigned
- Registered PE in the state of Illinois
- 5 to 10 years of professional experience
- Fluent with computer software including Microsoft Office, knowledge of AutoCAD a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to write routine technical reports and correspondence
- Successful completion of the following is required:
- HMA Level I, II, and III Mix Design classes and the Superpave upgrade class
- PCC Level I, II, and III Mix Design Classes
- 3-Day or 5-Day Aggregate
- Class S-14 Construction Documentation
- S-33 Soils Field Testing and Inspection
