GEOCON Professional Services is recruiting for a full-time Laboratory Technician to work out of their Frankfort office for 40 hours per week.

Essential duties and responsibilities; include but are not limited to the following:

1. Check in samples that are coming into the lab
2. Laboratory testing of samples
3. Internal equipment maintenance
4. Internal checks and calibrations
5. Maintenance and cleaning of the lab
6. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/skills & knowledge requirements:

1. High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred
2. Excellent written and oral communication skills along with strong PC skills
3. Excellent organizational skills
4. The following State DOT and ACI certifications are not necessary but preferred. If not in possession of these, all must be obtained within first year of employment: IDOT Mixture Aggregate Technician; IDOT Hot Mix Asphalt Level 1; ACI and IDOT Portland Cement and Concrete Level 1 and ACI Strength Testing Technician
