Description
The position is responsible for assisting in the execution of marketing strategies by enhancing current practices but also using external research and competitor review; developing new marketing strategies and customer relations; creating and building client relationships; assisting in developing, facilitating, and leading the proposal process and providing other marketing and communication leadership to the team.

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Write proposals and supporting documents for clients
• Assist in event planning for internal and external clients
• Provide assistance in photography needs, graphic design needs and website content
• Provide content writing for website, newsletters, video scripts
• Grow the use of the company’s customer relationship management program to maintain current clients and to grow future opportunities and assist in other business development plans
• Set short-term and long-term marketing goals and assist with overall marketing strategy
• Create and define brand standards for the company
• Provide other public relations needs as requested
• Provide media and social media management

Qualifications for the position:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communication or other related area
• At least 5 years of marketing or communication experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; Advanced knowledge of Adobe CC (specifically Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Lightroom)
• Experience with the following a plus: E-blasts, Constant Contact, Vision or web design (html/CSS coding, Dreamweaver and/or WordPress)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal/human relations skills
• Ability to listen and develop information into content and the ability to codify ideas into coherently written text
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff in various disciplines
• Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills
