We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Stormwater Management / Site Development Review Engineer to work out of our Itasca office.

We are seeking a licensed Illinois Professional Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in working reviews of site plan development and subdivision plans. Must have the ability to review complex engineering construction and private development engineering plan and documents for conformance to various municipality design and construction standards, codes and ordinances; perform overall supervision and review of detailed and complex engineering calculations, plans, specifications, and required submittals for private development projects such as street, water distribution, sewer collection and storm drainage systems. This position also provides stormwater reviews pursuant to issuance of Stormwater Certifications for DuPage County client communities; assists various communities with development and administration of their CRS programs to meet NFIP requirements and attends public meetings with municipal engineers and clients as required. Attend evening board meetings of municipal clients as required. Candidates must have excellent leadership, relationship building, and written and oral communication skills.

A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, an active PE license in the state of Illinois, and a valid driver’s license are required to be considered for this position. In addition, we are looking for a candidate with a knowledge of Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit requirements. The following skills are not required but would be highly desired in a candidate: demonstrated working skills with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software including HEC-RAS, StormCAD, XPSWMM, HEC-HMS and FEQ; knowledge of the DuPage, Lake and MWRD stormwater requirements and Lake County Enforcement Office designation.
