We have an exciting opportunity for a New Graduate Engineer to work out of our Glendale Heights office location.

The essential responsibilities of this position include:

• Assists in developing the scope of work for routine projects.
• Assists in the preparation of cost estimates, specifications, and other project related documents.
• Interacts with client and project team(s) in developing scope of services and communicating project progress.
• Works closely with senior-level project manager and Professional Engineer of Record to gain project management and engineering experience.

Required qualifications for this position include:

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a concentration in Civil, Geotechnical or Geological Engineering is required (a master’s degree is preferred)
• EIT license in the state of Illinois is preferred (if a candidate does not possess at a minimum an active Illinois EIT license, he/she must obtain it within 3 months of employment)
• Experience with Microsoft products, specifically Word and Excel, is required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and relationship building skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision making skills
• Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
