Description

Robinson's sister company, Geocon Professional Services (www.geoconcompanies.com), is looking to expand the team.  Would you like the opportunity to be our next Engineer at Geocon Professional Services?  As an Engineer on this team, you will have the opportunity to work on geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing projects.  

Your New Opportunity

  • Working on geotechnical and construction materials testing proposals
  • Writing and reviewing geotechnical and construction testing reports
  • Managing a group of construction testing field techs
  • Managing field testing activities and troubleshoot in the field when problems arise
  • Provide hands-on field help when needed or required (position requires 25% of work time in the field)
  • Assisting with lab testing

Your Background and Credentials

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with concentration in civil or geotechnical engineering
  • Previous experience through an engineering internship is preferred
  • Successful completion of the FE exam is highly preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft products, specifically Word and Excel, is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and relationship building skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
