We have an exciting opportunity for Senior Water/Wastewater Operator to work in northern Illinois with a home office located in Volo, Illinois.  The essential responsibilities of this position include:

• Provide daily over-site to water and wastewater facilities
• Oversee the system's operations and controls and troubleshoot common problems
• Conduct sampling for process control and regulatory compliance,
• Perform preventative equipment maintenance and facility upkeep

Desired qualifications for this position include:

• A high school graduate or equivalent
• At least 6 years or related work experience
• A minimum of Class B water certification and/or a Class 2 wastewater certification is required with the ability to become certified in Wisconsin
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook required
• Electrical troubleshooting experience and the ability to safely operate hand and power tools and computer skills are also required
• Must possess a strong work ethic with excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work alone
• Effective time management
• A valid driver’s license is required
