We have an exciting opportunity for a CAD Technician - Civil/Mechanical Engineering.  The essential responsibilities of this position include:
  • Drafting and plan production for civil/mechanical water/wastewater projects including treatment plants, lift stations and pump stations
  • Providing assistance to engineers and other team members with CAD drafting, quantity take-offs and engineering design
Desired qualifications for this position include:
  • High school graduate required; college graduate preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years related work experience in computer aided drafting
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in civil/mechanical engineering within the water/wastewater industry
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2018 or newer and AutoDesk Civil 3D 2018 or newer is required
  • Experience with AutoDesk Plant 3D and AutoDesk Revit preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft products, specifically Word and Excel, is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision making skills
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
