Description
Robinson is seeking a motivated self-starter for the role of Copywriter.  The position is based out of our Frankfort office. This position provides support for the technical staff and marketing team through producing marketing materials to be printed, including internal communications, reports, proposals, and other marketing materials.  This role will also be responsible for proofreading a large library of documents in a high-volume production environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Write content, edit proofread and distribute content for stock materials, reports, sell sheets and other communications
  • Ensure company content consistency across all media
  • Business writing and editing for civil engineering firm
  • Support technical staff’s marketing & communication activities by creating reports and presentations (PPT, etc.)
  • Create and implement corporate content style guide with direction from Marketing Manager
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and engineers to meet required project objectives
  • Maintain and develop expansive stock materials library and file management
  • Proposal Lead: 1-2 per month minimum
  • Content data entry, content database management and architecture as needed
  • Assist with additional marketing projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Required
  • 5+ years of high volume professional experience in copywriting, editing or content creation
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral (able to conduct a meeting or give a presentation)
  • Superior organizational skills – digitally and in real life
  • Experience in evaluating, creating and managing new organizational systems and processes for content management
  • Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills, ability to self-edit and self-proof
  • Professional experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Able to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively
Preferred
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, composition, journalism, public relations, English or related field
  • Deltek Vision database management & architecture experience
  • A/E/C industry experience and knowledge
  • Print production experience or graphic design experience a plus
