Would you like the opportunity to be our next Construction Technician? As a Construction Tech at Robinson, you will have the opportunity to assist with coordination and observe/document construction activities for water service line replacement projects and help deliver exceptional engineering services to our clients. You will have the opportunity to make an impact in communities the northern and western suburbs.

Your New Opportunity (available full-time, part-time, or seasonally)
- Communicate and coordinate with property owners regarding water service line replacement projects (https://www.gettheleadoutil.com)
- Document service line material of properties including interior and exterior
- Assist with site visits and field investigations for house-to-house surveys
- Tabulate data collected for use in engineering design projects
- Interact with local and remote clients, internal company staff, permitting agencies, and other consulting firms
- Observe construction activities for water service line replacement projects
Your Background and Credentials
- High school graduate or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in the field of public works or the construction industry. Basic plumbing knowledge/experience is a plus.
- Ability to read sewer and roadway maps, use iOS & iPads. Familiarity with GIS is a plus.
- Must enjoy working with people and possess a strong work ethic with good verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.
- Effective time management and experience working on multiple projects at any one time.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license

The pay range for this position is $25 to $35 an hour. Final compensation is dependent on multiple factors including years of experience, any applicable licensure and/or certifications, and internal pay structures.
